Mette Kjellerup & Synergy Dressage.
Mette, once commonly known as part of the fondly named "Danish Dynamic Duo" in partnership with Lars Petersen, came to the United States in 2002 leaving behind a trail of success in Denmark. The Teams accomplishments included training such greats as Don Schfro, Romancier, Blue Horse Cavan, Utopia and Uffe while in Denmark. Their training success resulted in qualifications for the 96 Olympics, 3 World Equestrian Games, 2 World Cup Finals and 3 Continental Championships. Once in the United States the Duo continued their reign of Success with the horse by the same name along with 2 more of their top rides, Monatana and Schumaker.
In 2005 Mette decided to start her own unparallel Dressage program with a foundation of training techniques that demonstrate it does not take force to train a dressage champion. It takes knowledge and feeling. Renowned for her ability to feel greatness when others only see the outward flaws as she did with Cavan and Success, Mettes techniques allow a horse to transform into a star. She currently is training superior sales candidates and her own FEI level horse for competition. She also gives lessons and clinics through-out the United States and takes horses for full training or Consignment. Some of her students have included other well-known dressage trainers and a member of the US Olympic Team.
